DEMO FAIR:

 

Entrepreneurs demonstrating their edtech product to educators, collecting feedback, and consulting on how it works in schools and districts. Products include:

  • Student learning platforms

  • STEM content subjects

  • Gaming

  • Math, ELA, Foreign Language

  • Tutoring and Test Prep

  • Professional Development

CEU-WORKSHOP:

 

3:30 - 4:30pm Evaluating edtech programs from an instructional design perspective

Presented by Dr. Jennifer Morrison from the JHU School of Education

  • Identify and describe the various types of edtech software options

  • Present and discuss key research-informed instructional design principles evident in quality edtech programs

  • Review examples of edtech programs that have incorporated these design principles

  • Examine and discuss the quality of edtech programs in the current marketplace
